Safe and Secure

We have built security into our products and services. Anyone who performs a procedure that changes either your server database or the operation of a field unit will be asked to provide a valid username and password. Additionally, you may request that anyone who simply views your system information give a username and password.

If you choose this option, our TelemetryVIEW software will allow you and your staff three levels of access. These are for Viewers, Operators, and Administrators.

Operators can view anything, and they can perform control operations, such as turning pumps on and off or changing tank alarm levels. Administrators can do anything an operator can do, plus they can create or delete usernames. Thus, Administrators control the admittance that any utility staff member has to the system. At any level, any user is able to change his or her own password. Obviously, this fully protected option offers you the greatest security. You may decide that this is not necessary, however, particularly if your utility is a small one and if all personnel need the ability to make changes to your system.
